Privacy Policy

Effective 12 June 2026 · Applies to the Matchday NZ mobile app

Matchday NZ is a football fixtures and prediction game. We built it to be fun and private. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

The short version: You can use the entire app anonymously. We don't show ads, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data. The only personal detail we ever store is an email address - and only if you choose to sign in.

What we collect

What we do NOT collect

How we use your information

Only to run the app's features: save and sync your predictions, calculate scores and standings, power leaderboards and private leagues, and sign you in if you ask to. That's it.

Where your data is stored, and who else is involved

Keeping or deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time, directly inside the app (More → Delete my account) or by request. Full details on our Account & Data Deletion page. If you never signed in, your data is tied only to an anonymous ID - clearing the app's data or uninstalling removes it.

Children

The app is a general-audience sports game and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll update the date above and post the new version here.
